Why GolfFlow exists
I've been playing in golf leagues for a little over 20 years. Wednesday nights, weekend leagues, scrambles, match play — you name it, I've signed up for it. And in all that time, I have never found a league management platform that was actually easy to use.
You know the drill. Pairings get sent out at the last minute. Standings show up sometime in the middle of the next week. You ask the league commissioner who won skins last Wednesday and they pull out a clipboard with a coffee stain on it. Half the leagues I've been in still run on a spreadsheet, three group texts, and one very tired volunteer.
So I built it
I run Sharp Finishing LLC, a powder coating shop in Toledo, Ohio, where I've spent years building internal management systems to keep our production floor running. One winter I started thinking: why not build the same thing for my golf league?
The first version got our league through a season. The next version got us excited. By the third version, other commissioners started asking if they could use it too. That's when GolfFlow GMS became something I wanted to share with everyone.
Today the platform handles handicaps, scorecards, weekly matchups, skins, closest-to-pin contests, multi-course rotations, and full season standings — automatically. The commissioner enters scores. GolfFlow does everything else.
